So today is the last day of my summer. Tomorrow I attend the second year of a four year program. Then I will have a degree. Then I will have a career. And then I will most likely be boring.

At the beginning of the summer I made a list of my summer time plans. Let's see how well I did:

1) Work as little as possible: I worked more than I wanted but no where near a forty hour work week. Ha.

2) Read the newspaper everday: Umm... does the entertainment section count? I don't know what I was thinking when I made this plan.

3) Ride a bike to work: Nope -- not once.

4) Make extravagent purchases: I paid two hundred dollars for a pair of boots and I bought a dress online.

5) Have no more than $100 dollars in my bank account at any given time: I developed a little bit of savings for this years school year.

6) Feign alcoholism and gothism while visiting Vancouver for the yet to be announced concert: I feigned gothism and alcoholism on the same night. It was a disaster.

7) Eat healthy: I ate really good for two weeks. And for the rest of the summer I ate semi-healthy.

8) Read three books: Oh yeah baby. I read 'The Perks of being a Wallflower', 'On the Road', 'Fast Food Nation', 'Harry Potter and the blah blah blah', and 'White Noise.' That's five.

9) Be awake before noon everyday: I did really good on this. I only slept past noon a few times. I'm proud.

10) Create a scrap book: I didn't even think of this again. So no scrap book.

My ultimate goal was to have zero obligations and zero responsibility. Besides working more than I would have wanted to, I think I achieved the ultimate goal. Good job Christy.
